BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences mailed out final ballots to 5,808 voting members Wednesday for the 77th Academy Awards.
The ballots list the nominees in 19 Oscars categories. Separate ballots for five award categories -- foreign language film, short and feature-length documentaries and animated and live-action short films -- will be distributed after members have verified attendance at screenings. Members who do not attend the screenings may not vote in those categories.
Completed ballots must be returned to the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers by 5 p.m., Feb. 22. The firm will tabulate votes and place the winners' names in sealed envelopes -- to be opened when the Oscars are presented Feb. 27.
