LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles jury that will hear a murder case against actor Robert Blake has been impaneled, E! Online reported Thursday.
The ex-"Baretta" star is charged in the shooting death of his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, outside an Italian restaurant in May 2001.

The 71-year-old actor was arrested in 2002 and charged with one count of murder with special circumstances and two counts of solicitation of murder. If convicted, he faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Blake has pleaded innocent to the crime and remains free on $1.5 million bail.
Opening arguments are set for Monday.
