LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- CBS plans a movie based on journalist Morton Kondracke's account of his wife Milly's struggle with Parkinson's disease, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

The paper said that "Saving Milly" -- based on Kondracke's best-selling book -- would star Bruce Greenwood as Kondracke and Madeleine Stowe as his activist wife.

The TV movie will be co-produced by Magna Global Entertainment -- the first collaboration between CBS and the ad buying agency on a TV movie. The project also involves participation by the Family Friendly Programming Forum -- which is sponsoring the movie through members including Johnson & Johnson, the Kellogg Co., Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and Unilever.

Emmy-winning director-producer Dan Curtis ("Dark Shadows," "The Winds of War") will direct from a teleplay by Jeff Arch ("Sleepless in Seattle," "Iron Will").
