'Mrs. Doubtfire' sequel planned

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Plans are under way in Hollywood for a sequel to Robin Williams' 1993 blockbuster "Mrs. Doubtfire," the Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The paper said Williams is in talks to reprise his role as a divorced voiceover actor who disguises himself as a kindly older women so he can be near his children. The report also said that Bonnie Hunt ("Cheaper by the Dozen," "Jerry Maguire") is in talks to write the screenplay.

"Mrs. Doubtfire" grossed $219 million at the U.S. box office. It won the Golden Globe for best movie comedy, and Williams won the Golden Globe for best actor in a movie comedy. The movie also won an Oscar for makeup.
