Hollywood fest honors 'Fahrenheit'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- The 8th Annual Hollywood Film Festival has named "Fahrenheit 9/11" its Hollywood Movie of the Year, Daily Variety said Wednesday.

The paper said Michael Moore's controversial film was chosen in a vote open to the public, over such other nominees as "The Bourne Supremacy," "Collateral," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Hero," "The Motorcycle Diaries," "Napoleon Dynamite," "The Passion of the Christ," "Shrek 2" and "Spider-Man 2."
