LONDON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Prince William has been named Britain's sexiest man at the Celebrity Awards 2004 event, Britain's Telegraph reported Monday.
A panel of celebrity watchers selected the royal heir over the likes of actor Jude Law and rugby star Jonny Wilkinson Sunday at the London Television Center, set to be televised Wednesday on ITV1.
Other honorees included reality TV host Simon Cowell as celebrity of the year, former S Club singer Rachel Stevens as sexiest female and Olympic champion Kelly Holmes as sports star of the year.
"Big Brother 5" contestants were winners, with Nadia Almada voted reality star of the year by viewers, and co-stars Michelle Bass and Stuart Wilson chosen as top celebrity couple.
Jennifer Ellison was named woman of the year for her pop career and Ant and Dec, the Geordie duo, were voted joint man of the year.
The actors from "Coronation Street" were picked as Britain's winning TV cast.
