Camilla promotes Osteoporosis work

LONDON, July 14 (UPI) -- Prince Charles' companion Camilla Parker Bowles was in her own limelight Wednesday, promoting the National Osteoporosis Society in Britain's House of Lords.

Camilla was the guest speaker for the first time at the upper house of British Parliament in her role as the society's president. The visit was followed by a guided tour of Westminster, hellomagazine.com reported.

While she was busy, the royals, including the Prince of Wales, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and Princess Anne, toured the country in the run-up to Wednesday night's Buckingham Palace reception for winners of the Queen's Award for Enterprise.
