LONDON, May 26 (UPI) -- A top British literary agent, whose clients included "The Full Monty" author, was stabbed to death in his London home, it was reported Wednesday.
Rod Hall, 53, was found by police Sunday night in his South London apartment with multiple knife wounds to the chest and stomach, Times of London said.
Scotland Yard is trying to retrace Hall's whereabouts over the weekend. He reportedly was last seen alive at Borough Tube station, a mile from his house, at 7 p.m. Friday, the Times said.
The Rod Hall Agency represented writers for stage, screen and radio as well as negotiating television and film rights for novels. His clients included Simon Beaufoy, the author of "The Full Monty"; Lee Hall, author of "Billy Elliot"; Martin McDonagh, the playwright; Juliette Towhidi, who co-rote the film "Calendar Girls"; and Simon Nye, who wrote "Men Behaving Badly."
