Lena Horne furious with Jackson over flash

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Outraged over Janet Jackson's infamous Super Bowl breast-baring stunt, Lena Horne has forbidden Jackson to play her in a U.S. made-for-TV film.

A spokeswoman for Jackson told Variety the singer was "disinvited" from the movie by Horne and her daughter, Gail Lumet Buckley, both of whom were furious with Jackson for flashing her breast during the game's half-time show.

Horne refused to return her contract for the bio-picture until ABC guaranteed Jackson was off the project, Variety reported.

ABC executives refused Horne's demand, but said the project was up in the air since Jackson's withdrawal.

Without another superstar in the lead role, it seemed unlikely the movie would move forward, Variety said.
