LOS ANGELES, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Naomi Watts said in a television interview Monday she will take both her mom and boyfriend, Heath Ledger, to the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony.
The star of "Mulholland Dr." and "Le Divorce" was nominated last month for a best actress in a leading role Oscar for her portrayal of a grieving mother in the drama "21 Grams." Her co-stars Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn were also nominated for Academy Awards.

In an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Monday, Watts confessed she and two of her close friends got up at 5 a.m. to hear the list of Oscar nominees announced on television. She said when she and her pals heard her name they jumped on the bed and "screamed like banshees" in celebration.
