Affleck back writing with Damon

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Ben Affleck is getting back with best friend Matt Damon in a Hollywood screen-writing collaboration.

The actor, who recently split finally from singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, plans to concentrate on "spending more time behind the camera, writing, directing and producing," IMBb.com reports.

The 31-year-old star of "Gigli," recently voted the worst film of the year, says the script with Damon will be along the same lines as "Good Will Hunting."

An "insider" is quoted as saying, "He's tired of his face being on the National Enquirer and wants to dial it all back a bit."

Affleck and Damon, 33, both Bostonians, won Best Screenplay Oscar for their 1997 "Good Will Hunting" production. Damon also received a Best Actor nomination for his role.
