Titan Energy builds and sells photovoltaic thin-film and crystalline photovoltaic products, and Energy Photovoltaics' panels will be included in the Indian company's new product line, the report said.

"Formed in 1991, (Energy Photovoltaics) says the company is experiencing unprecedented demand for its modules, technology, and manufacturing systems," the report said.

"This major contract with Titan Energy underscores the critical role that thin film photovoltaics will be playing to supply the world's demand for solar energy," Energy Photovoltaics Chief Executive Officer James F. Groelinger said via the report.

"Our research and dedication to developing the best thin-film photovoltaic products is paying off -- this contract represents only the beginning of our participation in what has already become a thriving market," he continued.

Energy Photovoltaics also designs and builds thin film manufacturing systems, the report said.
