MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- A critical-care blood transport container for soldiers on the battlefield has been launched by Minnesota-headquartered Pelican BioThermal.
The container is called Golden Hour Medic. It is 11.25 × 3.5 × 7.5 inches in a combat-portable medic pack and keeps blood and other chilled medical supplies for two days in harsh environments, and as much as three days in more standard environments, through reusable thermal chamber panels, the company said.
