Dyncorp expanding installation services in Qatar

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- DynCorp International is expanding its installation services in Qatar under a U.S. Air Force task order worth a maximum $20.4 million.

The task order issued under the U.S. Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III has a period of performance of one year with two one-year options.

Under the award, the military contractor will provide personnel, vehicles, tools and equipment necessary to support installation services at Al Udeid Air Base for the U.S. Air Force 379th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron, 379th Expeditionary Medical Group and Hospital Aseptic Maintenance Services.

Installation services will include fitness centers, lounges, community activity centers, media centers, learning resource centers, theaters and lodging areas.

Maintenance, custodial services, management and linen exchange services are also covered under the task order, which was competitively awarded.

"We are proud to be able to expand our extensive work in the AFCAP program to provide installation service support in Qatar," said George Krivo, senior vice president of DynLogistics, a DynCorp business unit.
