The aircraft to be upgraded are special mission aircraft and, in addition to electronic support measures and electronic intelligence systems, they will receive the company's maritime patrol radar and communications intelligence products.

At the Paris Air Show in France, IAI is featuring its "Total Solutions" technology concept -- based on the company's intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, advanced command-and-control systems with networks, and integrated defensive missiles and strike weapon systems.

"To confront today's threats, a comprehensive solution is needed, combining platforms, sensors, weapons and command-and-control systems," said Joseph Weiss, IAI president and chief executive officer. "Our Total Solutions concept enables our customers to know everything that happens immediately and precisely so they can make the right decisions and act effectively."

IAI said it is also showcasing its Taxibot robotic system for airport ground operations and its new generation of compact 3D High Frequency Direction Finder for various aircraft platforms.
