The JLTV is a program by the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps to develop a replacement for the Humvee.

"It's a tribute to the design, engineering and program management team that developed, built and tested BRV-O, and to the AM General workforce that has established such a great track record of supporting our military customers with innovative, affordable and dependable light tactical vehicle products and services for more than five decades."
AM General's Blast Resistant Vehicle-Off road product features a crew capsule and modular armor, which has undergone government blast testing, a fuel-efficient and high- performance engine, and a self-leveling suspension system.
Under the engineering, manufacturing and development phase contract AM General will produce 22 prototype vehicles for government testing.
