MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- General Dynamics has given SAIC a sub-contract for IT integration and implementation services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The services will support DHS's headquarters relocation.
The award has a seven-year base period of performance and a value of more than $90 million if all options are exercised.

"The new IT infrastructure will enable a modern, efficient and sustainable IT system for DHS that will be secure and scalable for many years to come."
SAIC said work under the subcontract will be conducted mainly in the National Capital Region. General Dynamics' prime task order was awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration Alliant contract vehicle and has a value of $867 million.
DHS is relocating to two campuses in Washington. Some 22 component agencies of DHS will be part of the consolidation of multiple sites.
Under the award, SAIC will help provide enterprise support to DHS, including the design, development and installation of the new IT infrastructure.
The U.S. General Services Administration awarded General Dynamics the prime task order for the relocation.
