AECOM to support Army depot

LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- The U.S. General Services Administration has given AECOM Technology Corp. contracts for technical support services at the Letterkenny U.S. Army Depot.

AECOM said the two contracts carry an aggregate value of as much as $72 million over three years if all options are exercised.

Under these contracts -- part of the GSA's Logistics Worldwide Schedule Contract program -- AECOM will provide a wide array of technical support services, including industrial, maintenance and logistical and technical labor services to sustain and enhance LEAD's production requirements for various functional divisions under the guidance of the Directorate of Maintenance.

These functions include production engineering, major items, industrial business, electronic support, manufacturing and fabrication, mechanical equipment, paint and support of the Mine Resistant Ambush Platform.

For these projects, AECOM will provide approximately 420 maintenance- and production technical personnel to augment the LEAD workforce.

Both contracts have a four-month base period with eight, four-month options, for a potential term of three years each.
