Under the agreement, Northrop Grumman and ELT will work collaboratively in design, development and production of radio frequency simulation, stimulation and additional electronic warfare equipment.

The collaboration will better position the Northrop Grumman and ELT team to better serve Italian and international customers.

"We are very pleased to partner with Elettronica, one of the world's preeminent providers of electronic warfare capabilities," said John Stanfill, site manager, Northrop Grumman's Amherst Systems business unit. "We believe this partnership will bring increased value to the electronic warfare customer community by making the best of both organizations available to customers in new and unique ways."

"Northrop Grumman represents a formidable partner to team with in the defense market," said Donato D'Angelantonio, vice president, business development for Elettronica SpA. "The combination of capabilities, resources and expertise will result in developing and producing complete defense systems that best meet the requirements of modern defense platforms."
