MINNEAPOLIS, May 14 (UPI) -- Amcom Software Inc. marked a milestone for its call recording technology following a certification from the U.S. Joint Interoperability Test Command.
Minnesota's Amcom says the approval from the Joint Interoperability Test Command for its MediaSTAR contact center recording system comes after the technology passed difficult Defense Department evaluation standards for security.
With the certification, MediaSTAR can be deployed by the Defense Department agencies and will be placed on the Unified Capabilities Approved Products List marking a milestone for Amcom.
"We're extremely pleased that this valuable product has passed this meticulous level of scrutiny to ensure system reliability in addition to unmatched security for the communications involved," Chris Heim, Amcom Software chief executive officer, said in a statement.
Amcom says its MediaSTAR is designed to support the recording of all calls that can be used to improve service capabilities through real-time monitoring.
