Navy awards NG multiple task orders

HERNDON, Va., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Navy has selected Northrop Grumman to provide planning services among other requirements under four task orders for several naval programs.

U.S. company Northrop Grumman was awarded the four task orders from the Navy SeaPort-enhanced contract office. The orders, worth more than $80 million, will go to provide several naval programs with traditional or innovative support services.

The awards include a Special Access Support Program task order, Information Technology, Modeling and Simulation Services task order, and task orders to support the Analytical Agenda and Deliberate Planning support services program, and also the Strategic Planning, Analysis, and Technical Support to Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Relief and Mine Action Program for Headquarters U.S. Central Command.

"We are the subject matter experts when it comes to this type of work using both traditional or innovative approaches," Gregory Schmidt, Northrop Grumman Technical Services' Training and Simulation Group vice president and general manager, said in a statement.

"Our top priority for all of these task orders will be to demonstrate top performance at an exceptional price combined with complete commitment to customer satisfaction."
