ATCi deploys satellite monitoring system

PHOENIX, July 13 (UPI) -- U.S. company Antenna Technology Communications Inc. has launched its new satellite monitoring system designed to support the law enforcement community.

ATCi recently announced the deployment of its Warrior Satellite Monitoring and Surveillance System. ATCi, which has implemented surveillance and monitoring systems in the past for the U.S. Defense Department, says its Warrior Satellite Monitoring System is part of a move to address the evolving satellite monitoring requirements of the law enforcement market.

ATCi says its monitoring technology supports the observation of satellite activities over 140 degrees and the ability to manage, control and archive mission critical content.

"Monitoring virtually everything in the sky has become critical in today's digital world … it is not enough to simply monitor fixed service satellites, but today's surveillance must also have the ability to associate and provide critical algorithm patterning data which can ultimately process and associate unlimited Internet protocol data thereby delivering greater security" Gary Hatch, ATCi's chief executive officer, said in a statement.
