DynCorp to support Army's tracked vehicles

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 1 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted DynCorp International to provide maintenance support for tracked vehicles in Germany.

Virginia-based specialized mission-critical services provider DynCorp was selected for the Army maintenance task order as part of the contract field teams contract vehicle.

Under the $5.5 million deal, DynCorp will serve as the Germersheim Army Depot operator in Germany. According to a release DynCorp will "maintain and provide supply support for tracked vehicles and other rolling stock for the 1/405th Army Field Support Battalion."

Officials say the Germersheim Army Depot task order is scheduled to begin in May.
