Homeland Security Dept. contracts Paragon

ATLANTA, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- The U.S. Homeland Security Department has contracted Tri-S Security Corp. for the company to provide security services in southern Virginia.

Georgia-based Tri-S Security says its Paragon Systems Inc. subsidiary was awarded the five-year, approximately $42.5 million contract.

Under the deal, Paragon will provide Homeland Security Department facilities in Virginia with as many as 200 armed and unarmed security guards for various security services.

"Paragon has now won a contract for the last 13 quarters, stretching back to the fourth quarter of 2005," the release said.
