"We continue to diversify our customer base with new international ZBV orders," Anthony Fabiano, ASEI president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "Our expanded sales force is building a greater awareness of our products, services, and proprietary technologies globally -- increasing the pipeline of new opportunities. The ZBV offers an attractive value proposition because of its flexibility and mobility to operate in the broadest range of environments and applications -- truly a breakthrough security tool in mobile X-ray detection."

ASEI's ZBV is a mobile screening system built into a delivery van. Officials say the trademarked technology can be deployed immediately in response to security threats with two operators "conducting X-ray imaging while the ZBV drives past suspect vehicles and objects," the release said.
