Under the more than $24.9 million contract CAE will provide a CAE 7000 Series Bombardier Global Express and a CAE 5000 Series Hawker Beechcraft Hawker 800 XPi full-flight simulators for the ECFT aviation training facility in Dubai, near the Dubai International Airport.

Both simulators will feature CAE's next-generation visual solution and CAE's trademarked True Electric Motion System among other technologies.

"Emirates-CAE Flight Training is the leading flight training facility in the region for both commercial and business aviation operators, and we're pleased ECFT continues to expand with CAE's true fidelity simulation equipment," said Marc Parent, CAE's group president, simulation products and military training and services, in a statement.

The 14-bay ECFT center is jointly operated by the Emirates Group and CAE. The facility is approved by the Joint Aviation Authorities and the Federal Aviation Administration to offer training to commercial airlines and business aircraft operators in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
