Pakistan tests missile

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Pakistan has reportedly tested a ground-launched cruise missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, reports said Thursday.

The test of the Babur missile, with a range of about 300 miles, was conducted without Pakistan informing India beforehand, although there is no treaty governing advance notice on missle tests.

The test reportedly took place Thursday, but additional details were not immediately available.
