UNITED NATIONS, April 24 (UPI) -- The U.N. Security Council Thursday unanimously extended the secretary-general's authority to run the Iraq oil-for-food program until the current phase ends June 3. The move allows supplies in the pipeline to reach Iraqis and gives time for Kofi Annan and diplomats to determine its post-conflict future.
