Serbia-Montenegro PM assassinated

BELGRADE, Serbia, March 12 (UPI) -- A sniper assassinated Zoran Djindjic, prime minister of the new state Serbia-Montenegro, outside Belgrade's government center Wednesday, officials confirmed. Djindjic was perhaps best known for his role in the arrest and extradition of former President Slobodan Milosevic for war crimes in the former Yugoslavia.
