French grapple with rightist candidate

ST. CLOUD, France, April 22 (UPI) -- France woke up to a political hangover Monday. Hard-right nationalist Jean Marie Le Pen, the surprise second-place candidate now in a runoff for France's presidency, renewed his call Monday for French men and women to sweep him to victory on May 5, but most believed President Lionel Jospin will win -- especially against Le Pen.
