PSDB wants PFL to support Serra

SAO PAULO, April 15 (UPI) -- Brazil's ruling Social Democratic Party wants the embattled Liberal Front to support its candidate for president and end almost two months of hostility between them, Brazilian papers reported Monday. The Social Democratic Party would like to see the Liberal Front get behind President Fernando Henrique Cardoso's hand-picked successor, former Health Minister Jose Serra.
