Thatcher urges UK's retreat from EU

LONDON, March 18 (UPI) -- In a new book, former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has called for Britain's gradual retreat from the European Union. She called the EU "perhaps the greatest folly of the modern era" and said Britain should consider joining the North American Free Trade Agreement instead. Thatcher's book was serialized in The Times newspaper on Monday.
