PM denies terrorist foothold in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Lebanon, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri strongly denied on Monday U.S. accusations that there were "terrorist camps" in eastern Lebanon and that Ousama bin Laden's al-Qaida network plans to move its command to the tiny Arab country.

"Of course, this is all fabrication and a baseless lie. Those who are spreading such news are known and their sources are known," Hariri said in speech before the Parliament.
