Hoax threat diverts flight

LONDON, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- A trans-Atlantic passenger jet flying from Britain to Florida on Saturday was forced to land in Iceland after a bomb threat -- which turned out to be a hoax. The Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 carried about 350 passengers and crew. The airline said a message -- which turned out to be a hoax threat -- had been found in the plane's bathroom.
