U.S. crude oil prices edge higher

NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose Tuesday in New York adding 92 cents to hit $97.35 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices shed 1.95 cents to $2.6119 per gallon. Heating oil prices slimmed by 1.5 cents to $2.9925 per gallon.

Natural gas gained 35 cents to $5.30 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded fell to $3.274 per gallon from Monday's $3.279, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
