Oil slides Monday

NEW YORK, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices dropped 65 cents Monday to hit $93.72 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Gasoline added 1.15 cents to reach $2.6319 a gallon.

Home heating oil picked up 1.13 cents to settle at $3.035 a gallon.

Natural gas lost nearly 6 cents to close at $4.26 per million British thermal units.

The national average price of unleaded regular gasoline dropped to $3.284 per gallon from Sunday's $3.287, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
