BRUSSELS, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Consumer confidence fell in the eurozone and the European Union in November, the European Commission said Thursday.
In a flash estimate that could be revised, the commission said its consumer confidence indicators from October to November fell from minus 14.5 to minus 15.4 in the eurozone and from minus 11.7 to minus 12.4 in the 28-member European Union.

The numbers are typically negative. The long-term average for the index, dating to 2003, is minus 12.5.
