NEW YORK, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices for October delivery eased back under $108 per barrel Tuesday as the likelihood of a U.S. military strike in Syria appeared diminished.

A U.S. Senate vote in Washington on whether or not to authorize a military response to Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons against its own citizens has been postponed, as President Barack Obama said he "fervently" preferred a diplomatic solution over a military one, Fox News reported.
