Campbell Soup, which is seeking new markets, would keep its brands in Britain and Denmark, the Times said.

In its pursuit of new markets, Campbell bought Bolthouse Farms from Madison Dearborn Partners, an equity firm, for $1.55 billion in 2012.

The company said the deal with CVC was expected to close in early 2014.
