NEW YORK, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- West Texas Intermediate crude for September delivery added 33 cents Monday to $106.89 per barrel in New York.

Crude oil found support from positive economic data from China and a better-than-expected purchasing managers index report for the U.S. service sector.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday, reformulated blendstock gasoline added 1.82 cents to reach $2.9688 per gallon. Home heating oil lost 0.07 cents to reach $3.0515 per gallon.

Natural gas gained 2 cents to $3.339 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.608, down from Monday's $3.614, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
