Top listing of the week: $190 million, it's yours

GREENWICH, Conn., May 21 (UPI) -- The top listing among U.S. properties this week is a 12-bedroom colossus in Connecticut priced at $190 million, Realtor.com said.

The home, known as Copper Beech Farm, is a 13,519-square-foot Victorian masterpiece built in 1898, on 50.5 acres, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

It has nine bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, one elevator and a private beach.

Most of the country's high-high-end properties don't make it onto public service listings. They are advertised through word of mouth or through proper channels, as it might be said.

Once in a while, however, the public gets a peak at the homes that challenge the definition of suburbia. Subolympia, perhaps.
