April 19, 2013 at 12:52 PM   |   Comments

WASHINGTON, April 19 (UPI) -- Classic Characters Inc., of Quebec, Canada, is recalling 5,000 pairs of infant socks that resemble frogs due to parts that can detach, posing a choking hazard.

The socks were imported from China and sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store outlets from January 2013 through March 2013 for about $7.

The recall involves knit ankle socks for infants with a red border and four fabric feet attached to the sides and a frog head attached to the top.

They were sold in sizes 6-18M.

Consumers were advised to take the socks away from children and return them to a Cracker Barrel outlet for a full refund. They can also be sent to Classic Characters for a full refund and reimbursement of shipping costs.

Consumers can call 877-298-9620 for information.
