NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices dipped in New York Tuesday but held to the recent trading range between $93 and $94 per barrel.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil gave up 23 cents to reach $93.45 per barrel. Gasoline shed 3.3 cents to $2.7211 a gallon. Home heating oil lost 3.25 cents to $3.03 a gallon.

The price of natural gas added 6.8 cents to $3.441 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, AAA reported the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.297 per gallon from Monday's $3.304.
