CHICAGO, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Grain futures were little changed on the Chicago Board of Trade Tuesday, although commodities found support from a weaker dollar.
Corn was up 1/2 to up 1, soybeans were up 1 to up 4 1/2, wheat was unchanged to off 1/2 and oats were up 3 to up 4 1/2.
The weaker dollar gave corn a boost, but harvest pressure kept gains muted. Wheat prices held steady with no major reports released Tuesday.
Soybeans prices rose marginally with prices sliding after an early rally that turned into a profit-taking session.
Corn: Dec 7.38 1/4 up 1, Mar 7.38 1/4 up 1, May 7.32 3/4 up 1, Jly 7.25 3/4 up 1/2.
Soybeans: Nov 14.93 3/4 up 1 1/4, Jan 14.92 3/4 up 1, Mar 14.68 3/4 up 2 3/4, May 14.32 3/4 up 4 1/2.
Wheat: 8.47 3/4 off 1/2, Mar 8.60 1/4 off 1/4, May 8.64 unchanged, Jly 8.32 3/4 off 1/4.
Oats: Dec 3.92 1/2 up 4 1/2, Mar 3.93 3/4 up 2 3/4, May 3.93 1/4 up 3, Jly 3.92 3/4 up 3.
