
CHICAGO, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade as traders moved to take profits ahead of a crop report expected Wednesday..31 80.42
Corn was off 14 to off 16 1/4, soybeans were off 17 1/2 to off 18 3/4, wheat was off 13 1/4 to off 16 1/2 and oats were off 2 1/4 to off 6 1/4.
Corn futures lost ground with some pressure from the U.S. dollar, which rose on the International Exchange, their index up 0.31 percent to 80.42.
Wheat futures closed lower with drier weather forecast for the next two weeks in Australia. In the soybean market, prices fell as Chinese imports for August hit a six-month low at 4.42 million metric tons compared to 5.87 million in July.

Wheat: Sep 8.68 1/4 off 16 1/2, Dec 8.89 3/4 off 15 1/4, Mar 9.01 1/2 off 14, May 9.01 1/4 off 13 1/4.
Oats: Sep 3.79 1/2 off 6 1/4, Dec 3.86 1/2 off 4, Mar 3.89 off 2 1/4, May 3.89 1/4 off 2 1/4.
