CHICAGO, May 10 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday, with soybeans making sharp gains in response to the global Supply/Demand report.

Corn was off 9 1/2 to off 15 3/4, soybeans were up 24 to up 25 1/2, wheat was up 1 1/4 to up 3 1/2 and oats were off 1 to up 1 1/4.
