CHICAGO, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Grains futures on the Chicago Board of Trade closed mixed Thursday with the dollar index off 0.41 percent and equities higher on Wall Street.
Corn was up 7 3/4 to up 9 1/4, soybeans were off 2 1/4 to off 4 1/4, wheat was up 1 1/4 to up 2 3/4 and oats were off 3/4 to up 1 1/4.
A weaker dollar gave corn futures a boost with net weekly export sales at 1,005,900 metric tons. Wheat prices closed slightly higher as Egypt purchased 180,000 metric tons from U.S. sources Thursday. Soybeans traded lower after a four-day rally with prices overdue for a correction, traders said.

Corn: Mar 6.36 1/4 up 9 1/4, May 6.39 3/4 up 8 3/4, Jly 6.42 3/4 up 8 3/4, Sep 5.94 1/4 up 7 3/4.
Soybeans: Mar 12.58 6/4 off 2 3/4, May 12.65 off 3 3/4, Jly 12.73 1/2 off 4, Aug 12.69 3/4 off 4 1/4.
Wheat: Mar 6.28 3/4 up 2 3/4, May 6.35 1/4 up 1 1/4, Jly 6.48 up 1 1/4, Sep 6.65 3/4 up 1 1/4.
Oats: Mar 3.23 3/4 off 3/4, May 3.18 1/4 up 1/4, Jly 3.17 1/2 up 1 1/4, Sep 3.15 3/4 up 1/4.
