Grains finish lower Wednesday

NEW YORK, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Grains closed lower Wednesday as the dollar index gained 0.35 percent.

Corn was off 8 1/2 to off 14, soybeans were off 18 1/2 to off 19, wheat was off 3 3/4 to off 19 3/4 and oats were up 2 3/4 to up 6 1/2.

Corn: Dec 5.80 off 8 1/2, Mar 5.80 3/4 off 13 3/4, May 5.89 1/4 off 14, Jly 5.95 3/4 off 13 1/2.

Soybeans: Jan 11.00 off 18 1/2, Mar 11.10 off 19, May 11.20 3/4 off 19, Jly 11.31 1/4 off 18 3/4.

Wheat: Dec 5.88 off 3 3/4, Mar 5.80 3/4 off 19 3/4, May 6.01 1/4 off 19, Jly 6.15 off 18 1/4.

Oats: Dec 3.05 off 1 1/2, Mar 3.02 1/4 off 7 1/4, May 3.06 1/4 off 5 1/2, Jly 3.08 3/4 off 6 3/4.
