COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- U.S. restaurant chain Wendy's said it had settled a lawsuit with a franchise group, WendPartners, which has agreed to install new toasters in 329 outlets.
Wendy's filed the lawsuit in July after WendPartners balked at installing toasters that were needed for the chain to launch a new cheeseburger, Dave's Hot 'n Juicy, the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch reported Wednesday.

WendParners operates in 20 states. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, said WendPartner's lack of participation would undermine the success of the new cheeseburger.
Wendy's spokesman Denny Lynch said the franchise group has agreed to install toasters in all of its outlets.
