CHICAGO, April 6 (UPI) -- Corn futures rose mixed Wednesday, as equities posted gains on Wall Street and the dollar index fell 0.45 percent.
Corn was off 3 3/4 to up 3/4, soybeans were up 2 3/4 to up 3 1/2, wheat was off 3 1/2 to off 4 1/2 and oats were up 1/2 to up 2.
Corn futures dropped slightly on the Chicago Board of Trade on a report that ethanol production in the week ending April 1 was down 0.11 percent from the previous week. Wheat prices fell with India reporting a wheat harvest that could reach a record of 84.3 million metric tons. Soybeans closed higher with an early rally that settled down as traders considered the market oversold.

Corn: May 7.63 off 3 3/4, Jly 7.70 1/2 off 3 1/4, Sep 7.03 1/2 off 1/4, Dec 6.47 1/2 up 3/4.
Soybeans: May 13.76 1/2 up 3 1/4, Jly 13.88 1/4 up 3 1/2, Aug 13.89 up 2 3/4, Sep 13.85 3/4 up 2 3/4.
Wheat: 7.82 1/4 off 4, Jly 8.18 1/4 off 4 1/2, Sep 8.55 3/4 off 4 1/2, Dec 8.87 off 3 1/2.
Oats: May 3.92 up 1/2, Jly 4.00 1/2 up 1 1/2, Sep 4.05 up 2, Dec 4.09 1/2 up 2.
